SUITABLE FOR AGE 16+
Location: Trekking Centre
Time: 10.30am to 12pm

Tryout Price: £35For one morning every week (Wednesday or Friday) escape into nature and enjoy the beautiful trails around Westerlands. Tack up, groom, learn practical skills + 40 minute ride (extended to 1hr ride on 4th week). All abilities welcome!

Pony Academy
SUITABLE FOR AGE 10-17

Dates: During school holidaysOur Pony Academy welcomes young teens for a morning filled with horse care, theory and a ride around the beautiful Westerlands estate. Not sure what is best for you? Let us know which rides interest you and when you would like to visit. Fill out our booking questionnaire with your contact details and a little advance information about the riders (height, weight, age). We will respond promptly with recommendations and booking information.
If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us on riding@westerlands.com. Email is preferred as we are often out with the horses. We can call you if you prefer, just let us know when would be a good time, and your mobile number of course :)
Our Terms & Conditions
By making a booking it is understood you agree to our TERMS & CONDITIONS therefore we strongly recommend you read them carefully before you make a booking. Here are some key points:
🐎 Minimum age is 3yrs
🐎 Maximum weight is 88kg/14 stone
🐎 It is important that you don’t over estimate your riding capability so that we can choose the most appropriate horse and provide the best experience for you.
🐎 Where possible, please allow 24hrs notice for new bookings.
🐎 We operate a No Refund Policy. This is a condition of booking. All bookings cancelled prior to the 48hr deadline will be credited to a future booking (within 6 months of booking date). All bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the booking date and time will result in no refund or transfer, payments may not be moved to a future booking.
