It’s wholesome, nourishing, and free from unnecessary additives or preservatives, ensuring you enjoy real, honest flavours. Cooking with farm-fresh produce allows you to appreciate the natural taste of locally sourced, sustainable ingredients and connects you to the land and the people who nurture it.
Our meals are made using our own 100% grass-fed Dexter beef and lamb, slow-grown here at Westerlands for exceptional quality. Each meal is carefully prepared, labeled, and immediately frozen, ready for you to enjoy upon arrival at one of our farm stays.
For those who prefer to cook from scratch, you can also order farm produce from our farm shop, and we’ll have it waiting in your accommodation for when you arrive.

Cheryl manages the marketing and sales of farm produce. When you order farm produce or a farmhouse kitchen meal from Westerlands, she will organise it for you. She is also responsible for quality control - all our products are cooked and approved by Cheryl and her family before they are offered to our guests!

If you pre-order your meal, it will be placed in your property freezer ready for your arrival (you can request for us to place it in your fridge to defrost if you wish).
If you wish to order a meal during your stay you can collect it from our office between 9am and 5pm (or alternative times by appointment).

We are a regenerative farm which means: we don’t use synthetic fertilisers, only farm yard manure and organic green waste; we don’t use pesticides, fungicides or herbicides on our land; we very rarely use antibiotics and all our animals are slow grown and 100% pasture fed. Although our lamb and beef is not certified organic, we practise organic management principles.
